Through three weeks of the young 2025 season, Syracuse football quarterback Steve Angeli leads the country in total passing yards, according to the NCAA's Web site.
The 6-foot-3, 212-pound redshirt junior, out of Westfield, N.J., is completing 64.0 percent of his passes for 1,072 yards with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. He also has a rushing score.
By the way, if you include his time at Notre Dame before he transferred to the Orange, Angeli has completed 67.3 percent of his passes for a combined 1,844 yards with 18 touchdowns and just three picks.
