All the talk around the town has been about the latest batch of Syracuse football players trying to make it in the NFL. But there are still some older Orange players chasing that dream like Steve Ishmael.
Ishmael is still only 23 years old and he’s hoping to make the final 53 man roster this time around with the Indianapolis Colts.
Last year Ishmael wasn’t selected in the 2018 NFL Draft but quickly signed on with the Colts a few hours later. While he impressed in spurts, it wasn’t enough to make the roster.
But fast-forward a year and he’s back on the 90-man roster heading into training camp this Summer.
