Not many former Syracuse football quarterbacks have had raving success at the NFL level. Well at least not recently.
So Ryan Nassib was our pride and joy to break that trend. There was a lot of hype that he would follow Doug Marrone to Buffalo and perhaps even be a first round draft choice.
Despite the smoke and mirrors, Marrone went in a different direction in the first round (EJ Manuel out of Florida State, yikes). While Nassib went to one of the most stable franchises in sports, the New York Giants.
Nassib was drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
