Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2019 junior college offensive tackle Darius Tisdale has committed to Syracuse football during an official visit.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pound Tisdale is unrated by the major recruiting services, but was being contended for by a handful of Power-5 programs. A sophomore at Lackawanna Community College in Scranton, Pa., Tisdale was offered first by the Orange on Oct. 11 before a group including West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Arkansas and Rutgers followed suit.
Tisdale previously attended South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) High School, where he overlapped with SU senior running back Dontae Strickland.
