Syracuse football recruiting: Florida DE Ishmael Goulbourne commits

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2019 defensive end Ishmael Goulbourne has verbally committed to Syracuse football, he announced on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) High School product is rated two stars by 247Sports.com's composite rankings and the No. 135 weak-side defensive end this cycle. Recruited by safeties coach Nick Monroe, Goulbourne was also offered by Western Michigan, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Tulane and UAB, among other programs.

Goulbourne, who was named to the Palm Beach County all-7A team last fall, took an unofficial visit to SU in June. Now he follows former teammate Cam Jonas, a freshman safety, to Central New York.
