Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey cleared for spring practice

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey has been cleared by the team's medical staff to participate in spring practice, head coach Dino Babers said on Wednesday.

Dungey, who is coming off right foot surgery in late November, is already out of his boot and has been participating at least partially in winter lifting sessions.

"I saw Eric the other day in the training room," Babers said at his National Signing Day press conference. "He's a green-light go from the trainers. He should be able to go through all of it."

This spring could be a telling one for the quarterback group.
