Former Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey got his first taste of the NFL in his rookie minicamp with the New York Giants on Friday.
Dungey has thousands of snaps in high school and college under his belt. But none of those prepared him for his first experience with the Giants. Eric is in the quarterback room and also according to the Giants, the tight end room as well.
Eric has never played the position at any significant level and will have to learn it on the fly. As hard as that’ll be, it’s better for Eric’s NFL future in the long run.
