The XFL is rocking and rolling with Week 2 already in the books. Here’s how all the former Syracuse football players performed and what’s next for these guys next weekend.
Eric Dungey, quarterback, Dallas Renegades
The former Syracuse football quarterback was listed as second-string Week 1 for the Dallas Renegades. Shortly after the game, it was revealed that Dungey was placed on the “reserve/left the squad list”.
Long story short, Eric was released from the team but will return Week 3 to the Renegades roster. Dungey released a statement on social media citing “family reasons” as to why he had to leave the XFL so abruptly.
