Things aren't looking so good for Kyle McCord to make the Philadelphia Eagles roster for the NFL's upcoming 2025 season.
On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via X that the Eagles were involved in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. The Eagles will receive former North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell and a 2026 sixth-round pick.
The Vikings are getting a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick. That Philadelphia traded for another quarterback likely signals that McCord, the former Syracuse football star signal-caller, won't be with his hometown Eagles beyond training camp.
