Syracuse Football: New York Giants to use Eric Dungey as utility player

The huge news on Thursday evening was former Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey signing a deal with the New York Giants.

It broke a near week-long drought of uncertainty around Dungey’s professional future. Per a report by Nate Mink of Syracuse.com, Dungey had received four or five professional offers that Eric was waffling between.

After biding his time he got the perfect landing spot he was looking for with the Giants. Dungey announced the news on his Instagram page and the official Syracuse football twitter account confirmed the news.

Interestingly enough when the Giants revealed the news on their site, Dungey was simply listed as a quarterback.
