Syracuse University Athletics has announced that the extension of eligibility waiver submitted on Terrel Hunt's behalf for a sixth season has been denied by the NCAA. With the denial of the waiver comes the end of Hunt's collegiate career.
Hunt tore his Achillies in the very first game of the 2015 season, the second major injury of his career. He headed into both the 2014 and 2015 seasons as the starter but didn't make it out of either healthy.
