Syracuse football: Michigan transfer, former 4-star OT James Hudson set to visit

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football will host a highly touted offensive tackle transfer target on an official visit this weekend.

James Hudson, who spent the last two years at Michigan, confirmed he'll be taking a trip to Central New York this weekend via Twitter direct message on Tuesday evening. Mike McAllister of 247Sports.com first reported the visit.

The 6-foot-5, 302-pound Hudson is a redshirt freshman who was recruited as a defensive lineman by UM before transitioning to offensive tackle early last fall. He didn't play in 2017 before appearing in three games for the Wolverines early this season, primarily as a reserve right tackle.
