On Monday, LSU Head Coach and former Syracuse defensive line coach Ed Orgeron hinted at the fact that star running back Derrius Guice may not be available to play against Syracuse this weekend.
On Wednesday, that report was confirmed by NOLA.com reporter Andrew Lopez.
Guice has been an absolute beast for LSU and is considered a top three running back in the country. Through three games this year, Guice has 57 carries for 300 yards and four touchdowns.
Last season, Orgeron took over for Les Miles after a disappointing loss to Auburn on the road, and in his first game defeated Missouri 42-7.
