Coastal Carolina defensive end transfer Jeffrey Gunter has de-committed from Syracuse and flipped his commitment to NC State. He announced his commitment to Syracuse just two weeks ago after an official visit to campus.
Gunter claims that he made the commitment to Syracuse too soon. And once an offer to play for Dave Doeren and the home-state Wolfpack came, Gunter said it was too good to pass up. It is important to remember that he will not suit up against Syracuse next season, as he will have to sit out due to NCAA transfer rules.
Gunter is a 6-foot-4 255-pound prospect from Durham, North Carolina.
