Isaac Chukwurah, a 2026 three-star defensive lineman who is verbally committed to Big Ten Conference school Penn State, is hearing from Syracuse football, a source tells me.
On October 13, the 6-foot-2, 260-pound Chukwurah said that he remained verbally pledged to the Nittany Lions, but that he would also reopen his recruitment, after Penn State fired head coach James Franklin a day earlier.
First off I would like to thank @coachjfranklin, Penn State, and the rest of the coaching staff for believing in me. As of right now I am still committed to Penn State but after a conversation with my family I have decided to reopen my recruitment due to a lot of uncertainty.
