The Syracuse Orange wasn’t as effective with this ground-based attack last weekend. The first half saw Syracuse try some different looks with Ike Daniels and Braden Davis catching passes and that opening drive worked well until the double-penalty on Umari Hatcher wiped out a touchdown.
The rest of the opening half featured very little offense from the Orange as the team just couldn’t get the element of surprise working to keep the running game on track.
