Baton Rouge, La. — The Syracuse football team put up a good fight but came up short in a 35-26 loss to LSU on Saturday. The Orange faithful traveled well and mingled with the very hospitable Tigers fans with their legendary tailgating. The stands were nearly filled with about 90,000 crazies.
Football in the south is a completely different animal compared with football in the Northeast.
