A team of Syracuse lacrosse greats past, present and future got together to win the Lake Placid Summit Classic last week.
Burned Orange took their division (ages 18-30) with a title game win over a Philadelphia-based team on Sunday. Burned Orange finished 4-0 in winning a grouping that included 15 other similarly stocked teams.
The team included a mix of former and current Syracuse players, including two incoming recruits. One of those newcomers, incoming attack Owen Seebold, ran with returners Nate Solomon and Stephen Rehfuss in what could be a 2018 Orange preview.
The squad was coached by former SU player Tim Harder.
