GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Orange football team plays its third straight game in the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Sept. 22 when its hosts former BIG EAST rival Connecticut on Military Appreciation Day, presented by SEFCU. The game will begin at 4 p.m. and be televised on ESPNews, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today.
The Orange are 4-6 all-time against the Huskies, but have won the most recent two meetings, including a 40-10 decision in 2012, the last time Connecticut visited the Dome.
Syracuse is 2-0 overall after picking up wins at Western Michigan in the season opener and against Wagner last Saturday.
