Syracuse will host Arkansas State on Dec. 22 in the Carrier Dome, SU Athletics announced Thursday. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Orange and the Red Wolves. SU’s full nonconference schedule has now been announced, per the release.
Arkansas State finished the 2017-18 season with an 11-21 record. That Red Wolves squad set a school record for 3-pointers made, with 236. ASU returns two of its top four scorers in senior guards Ty Cockfield (14.9 points per game last season) and Grantham Gillard (8.7).
The Red Wolves will be led by second-year head coach Mike Balado.
