Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim on point guard health: 'We're just going to have to wait and see'

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said the uncertain status of Syracuse's three point guards will likely linger into next week, potentially until just before the team's season-opening game against Eastern Washington.

The Orange has played both of its exhibition games without any of its three point guards -- Frank Howard, Jalen Carey and Howard Washington -- due to injury.

"We don't know what's going to happen next week with the point guard position," Boeheim said. "We're just going to have to wait and see. We won't know anything until, probably, right around game time next week.
