Can’t believe it’s already time for conference play! This season is moving too fast for the Syracuse basketball squad. Regardless SU is in a much better position this season after nonconference play than last season. With that is an improved level of confidence for this young Orange team coming in.
On paper this is a pure mismatch nightmare. Virginia Tech is the best three point shooting team in the country. They have seven, count them, seven players who average at least 37.5% from downtown. While the Orange struggle defending the perimeter. I have a weird feeling though about this game and I think the Orange, despite the odds, will find a way to win.
