Qudus Wahab, one of the last remaining targets for the SU hoops outfit in its 2019 recruiting class, revealed on Wednesday afternoon that he will suit up for Georgetown. The 6-foot-10 center made the announcement via his Twitter page.
Wahab, slotted as three or four stars depending on the recruiting service, had a final five of Connecticut, the ‘Cuse, the Hoyas, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.
For much of his recruitment process, it seemed unclear to me which program industry analysts pegged as the front-runner to land Wahab. However, in recent days, I read online a bit that Georgetown and the Panthers had separated themselves from the pack, and ultimately Wahab went with the Hoyas.
