Syracuse basketball is heavily involved in the recruitment of 2022 five-star power forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, but now the Orange is in the mix for four-star Maliq Brown, who also suits up at power forward in this cycle.
The ‘Cuse recently offered a scholarship to the 6-foot-9 Brown, according to his Twitter page. Brown is a junior at the Blue Ridge School in St. George, Va.
According to a review of various recruiting services, Brown’s other offers include from Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Penn State, TCU, VCU, Richmond, Old Dominion and Murray State.
