If you would’ve told me that the Syracuse basketball team would be playing right now, my first thought would’ve been that SU was playing in the NIT. But we all know it’s the Sweet 16 the Orange are participating in on Friday night.
While the 2-3 zone has led the Orange all year long, they’ll need more than that if they wish to advance into the elite eight. These two teams have played previously and both teams struggled offensively and Duke pulled it out 60-44.
SU has been able to survive with lackluster offense through this March Madness tournament and I think this team is due for an offensive explosion.
