Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse basketball player Ky Feldman's family recently had to evacuate their home because of the fires that have devastated parts of Southern California.
Feldman, a junior walk-on for the Syracuse Orange, lives in Agoura Hills, Calif. Much of the area has been devastated by the recent wildfires that have killed over 50 people and destroyed thousands of homes.
Feldman said his family was forced to evacuate their home last Thursday as the fires approached the area. His father, Jeffrey, had just left on a business trip to Israel.
"My dad actually left the night we evacuated,'' Feldman said.
