The Orange blasted a solid Northeastern crew about a week ago, then this past Saturday cardiac ‘Cuse took center stage against former Big East Conference foe Georgetown.
Junior wing Tyus Battle nailed a nifty jumper in the waning seconds, and Syracuse snuck by the Hoyas, 72-71, before a boisterous Carrier Dome crowd.
As a result of these two recent successes, SU (7-2) has gotten a nice little reward. The Orange on Monday afternoon found itself back in the AP top-25 poll.
