Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim called today to offer 6-foot-4 combo guard Khalif Battle a basketball scholarship, Gary Battle confirmed. Pat Lawless first reported the offer on Twitter.
Khalif Battle is the younger brother of SU guard Tyus Battle. Khalif is in the basketball Class of 2019 and plays for Team Final's 16U team.
"He's had a phenomenal summer," said Gary Battle, the boys' dad. "He's really played well."
Washington coach Mike Hopkins, the former SU assistant, has also offered Khalif Battle.
