We recently detailed how Syracuse basketball 2023 five-star target Simeon Wilcher turned down a lucrative deal from Overtime Elite to remain at his high school in New Jersey, according to an article by college hoops insider Adam Zagoria in The Star-Ledger.
I found that this decision by the 6-foot-4 Wilcher, a top-flight combo guard in his cycle, is admirable and refreshing. For that reason alone, Wilcher’s character has me excited that the Orange is in the mix for him.
But Wilcher is tremendous on the court as well, and it seems that he has a solid interest in the ‘Cuse program.
