Syracuse Basketball: Joe Lunardi has SU out and that’s a good thing

The Syracuse basketball team, heading into the 2019-20 campaign, is losing a ton of talent, but it’s also bringing in an intriguing five-member recruiting class, will possess more depth on its roster, and likely will experience better results on offense. Still, the question marks remain, and that’s absolutely fair.

With the 2019 recruiting cycle virtually wrapped up, and the bulk of the nation’s premier graduate transfers having made their selections known, we all have a sense of where things currently stand for the bevy of collegiate-hoops programs, including of course the ‘Cuse.

At this juncture, due to SU’s perceived youth and inexperience, the Orange isn’t included in any pre-season top-25 ratings that I’ve come across online.
