The Syracuse basketball squad remains in the running for Jalen Carey, a talented four-star guard in the 2018 class.
Carey, via his Twitter page, said that his six finalists are the Orange, Connecticut, Kansas, Miami, Rutgers and Villanova.
The 6-2 Carey, who had an unofficial visit to the ‘Cuse in June, attends the Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, N.J.
He is a consensus top-75 prospect by the four main recruiting Web sites. Nationally, Rivals.com ranks Carey 52nd, ESPN.com places him 56th, 247Sports has Carey 59th and Scout.
