Zion Cruz, a 2022 five-star combo guard who received a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball in August of 2019, is playing a key role in leading The Patrick School to a 12-1 record to date in the 2020-21 campaign, as well as a top-50 national ranking from MaxPreps.
The 6-foot-5 Cruz, whose list of offers from high-major teams has expanded to about 20, is averaging 15.8 points, 2.18 rebounds and 2.36 assists per game for The Patrick School in Hillside, N.J., where he is a junior.
