Was it pretty? Absolutely not. Was it a huge win? Absolutely. And at the end of the day, although it may sound cliché, a win is a win.
This was a massive win for the Orange to continue their three game win streak and to stay in NCAA Tournament contention. Not only was this game ugly, but it was possibly one of the worst shooting performances I’ve ever seen. The Orange shot 20-52 from the field, including 8-24 from three-point range. They also turned the ball over 14 times.
Right from tip-off, the Orange were ice cold.
