Syracuse basketball has yet to offer Jai Smith, but his national rating is soaring.
Even though Syracuse basketball hasn’t offered Central New York native Jai Smith, and the Orange might never do so, his recruitment has absolutely blown up on a national stage.
The 6-foot-9 Smith, a 2022 three-star power forward, has more than 40 scholarship offers, according to a review of the primary recruiting services.
His latest offers include from Baylor, Texas and Kansas – all squads out of the Big 12 Conference that are presently ranked in the top 10 of both major polls.
