It has been three years since Carmelo Anthony last played for the New York Knicks. It’s been 16 years since Carmelo suited up for the Syracuse basketball squad.
In a day and age where nostalgia is the flavor of the moment, fans are craving for a reunion of epic proportions.
Sadly that reunion won’t be at the Carrier Dome for the Orange, I don’t believe the NCAA would approve that, despite the fact, Melo technically still has three years of eligibility.
It would actually be with the New York Knicks. When Melo was a rising 26-year old star in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets he forced his way out in a blockbuster deal with the Knicks where he spent seven seasons, but could a return be on the horizon?
