On Friday evening former Syracuse basketball guard Brycen Goodine chose to enter the transfer portal to take his talents to a new team.
Just a few short days later he has already found a new home in Providence.
Goodine spoke with Kevin McNamara of the Providence Journal to provide some more details:
“I was thinking about playing at a local school and my number one local school was Providence. I’ve been on their campus a bunch of times, I like coach (Ed) Cooley and the way he coaches.”
So why did he leave the Syracuse basketball program?
