Syracuse Basketball: Boeheim’s Army has added big-time players to roster

The Boeheim’s Army 2023 roster, a collection of former Syracuse basketball players and other stars, is rounding into form.

Boeheim’s Army, named for legendary Hall of Fame head coach Jim Boeheim, who retired as the ‘Cuse boss this past March, has added numerous talented players to its line-up of late, according to media reports and social media posts.

One of the squad’s more recent additions is high-scoring guard Matt Morgan, a former standout at Cornell who played professionally in Europe this season. Morgan suited up, a year ago, for Boeheim’s Army, when the team fell in the round of 32 in the 2022 version of The Basketball Tournament (“TBT”), a 64-squad, $1 million winner-take-all event over the summer.
