Shaun Belbey, a guard on the Syracuse basketball team, has earned a scholarship from Orange head coach Jim Boeheim for his last term in a ‘Cuse uniform.
Donna Ditota of Syracuse.com reported this fantastic news about the 5-foot-10 Belbey, a graduate student who redshirted a stanza ago.
After initially walking on for the Orange, he has now landed a scholarship in the past two campaigns, Ditota writes. Belbey’s schollie puts the ‘Cuse at 13 scholarship guys for 2019-20.
