Late last month, Syracuse basketball got into the mix for talented 2022 power forward Maliq Brown by offering the four-star prospect a scholarship.
The 6-foot-9 Brown, a junior at the Blue Ridge School in St. George, Va., holds numerous other offers from high-major teams as well as interest from many more.
In other words, his recruitment continues to expand nationally, and the Orange is facing intense competition to ultimately – and hopefully – land Brown.
Per his Twitter page, Brown just received a new offer from Southeastern Conference member Texas A&M, which is coached by Buzz Williams, who previously led both former Big East Conference foe Marquette and current Atlantic Coast Conference adversary Virginia Tech.
