Syracuse Basketball: 4-star guard Kadary Richmond adds star power to Orange

The Syracuse basketball team’s already-deep cadre of guards has gotten a bit larger, as 2020 combo guard Kadary Richmond pledged his collegiate-hoops career to the Orange on Monday.

That’s according to reports by Donna Ditota of Syracuse.com and Michael McAllister of CuseNation.com.

The 6-foot-6 Richmond, who is rated as four stars by the majority of recruiting Web sites, took an official visit to the Hill this past weekend, where he watched the Orange’s exhibition victory over Division II Daemen College.

Richmond, whose hometown is in Brooklyn, N.Y., received a schollie offer from Syracuse in early October, not long after 2020 four-star wing Andre Jackson selected former Big East Conference rival Connecticut over the ‘Cuse and several other schools.
