Billy Stanfield III, a fast-rising 2028 wing from Maryland, will take an unofficial visit to the Hill on Saturday, Aug. 23, to play in Syracuse basketball's annual Elite Camp, I've learned.
The 6-foot-6, 195-pound Stanfield is a standout rising sophomore at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md. This spring and summer, he played well for the 15U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo in Nike's EYBL league.
In late August, the Orange staff holds its Elite Camp, where high school prospects across different recruiting cycles compete while 'Cuse coaches evaluate them.
