Nate Roberts, a class of 2018 target out of Brewster Academy, officially made his college decision. The 6-foot-9 forward announced that he will attend Washington next fall.
“Coach (Mike) Hop (Hopkins) and I have a great relationship and he has been a believer in me as a player and person since my recruiting has taken off and now that he’s the captain of the ship, it makes things a lot better when the head coach is on your side,” Roberts said.
Roberts chose Washington over Nebraska and Syracuse. The three-star forward is from Bel Air and formerly ran with Team Melo on the AAU circuit, so his commitment comes as a bit of a surprise.
