  • Syracuse and Lafayette have met eight times previously.
  • The Orange have claimed victory in each of the eight matchups against the Leopards. The teams first squared off at The Palestra in the 1957 NCAA Tournament, where the 'Cuse claimed the program's second NCAA postseason victory, 75-71.
