Syracuse 75, Notre Dame 67: Orange complete comeback behind Buddy Boeheim’s career high 29 points

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team trailed by as many as 19 on Saturday, but a 23-2 second half run allowed the SU to secure the victory over Notre Dame. Syracuse kept its NCAA Tournament hopes alive with a quadrant two win. The Orange were led by Buddy Boeheim, who scored a career-high 29 points.

Jim Boeheim made no changes to his staring lineup for the fifteenth straight game, electing to go with Joe Girard, Buddy Boeheim, Alan Griffin, Quincy Guerrier and Marek Dolezaj.

The Syracuse offense started off sluggish. The younger Boeheim started off 3-3 from the floor but his teammates were a cool 1-6.
