Not all news from Syracuse's 34-21 win over Clemson was good news. The Orange's dominant road performance against a preseason top-5 team was overshadowed by quarterback Steve Angeli going down with a leg injury.
It happened when Angeli was scrambling, and he went down without any contract. Angeli, who led the nation in passing coming into Saturday, was helped off the field and eventually placed on crutches.
Steve Angeli went down with a non contact injury. Did not look good at all.
Angeli is now on the sidelines with crutches.
Angeli has been crushing it all season and has the most passing yards in college football.
