SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse defensive end Alton Robinson and punter Sterling Hofrichter both had their names called on the third day of the 2020 NFL Draft. Robinson was taken in the fifth round (No. 148 overall) by the Seattle Seahawks, while Hofrichter was picked in the seventh round (No. 228 overall) by the Atlanta Falcons.

Robinson is the fifth Syracuse defensive lineman drafted since 2010, joining Arthur Jones (2010), Chandler Jones (2012), Jay Bromley (2014) and Chris Slayton (2019). Hofrichter, who succeeded 2016 NFL draftee Riley Dixon, is the third Orange punter to be selected.
