Syracuse Orange athletics have already entered year six in the ACC, with men’s and women’s soccer, plus field hockey, getting going in the last week. Football starts on Friday, and other sports get going shortly as well.
Along with what’s next, the occasion also gives us a glimpse at what happened over the course of the last five years in our new league. The Daily Orange spoke to many of the biggest names involved in those successes (and then one, DOCTOR Gross, who was just part of how we got there).
Some of the best moments, from my point of view: Justyn Knight’s entire career, SU’s national titles in cross country and field hockey, the 2013 Texas Bowl, and of course, the 2016 Final Four runs for men’s and women’s basketball.
