Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse star Rakeem Christmas is expected to be recalled by the Indiana Pacers on Friday, according to a report by the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner.
Like his previous call-ups it's uncertain if Christmas will get an opportunity to make his NBA debut during his time with the Pacers. Buckner reports that he will be eligible to play for the Pacers on Saturday but the decision was made largely to get him around the rest of the team during a four-game homestand and to reward Christmas for his strong performance in the D-League so far this year.
