Syracuse will square off with Iowa in the Big 10/ACC Challenge on December 3 in the Dome.
The Orange have forged a 3-3 record in six Big 10/ACC Challenge appearances, including back-to-back victories against Maryland (72-70) and at Ohio State (72-62) in the last two years. Syracuse is 2-1 in Dome matchups in the event.
Fran McCaffery has completed nine seasons at the Iowa helm. He guided the Hawkeyes to a 23-12 record and the program's fourth NCAA Tournament berth in five seasons last year. McCaffrey is 174-132 at Iowa and 425-309 in 23 campaigns as a head coach.
