SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse chapter of Uplifting Athletes will hold its seventh annual "Lift for Life" on Thursday, July 18. "Lift for Life" is the signature fundraising event for the Uplifting Athletes nationwide network of college football student-athlete led chapters.
This year's event will take place at 5 p.m. inside Manley Field House and it is open to the public. Parking is free in the Manley North Lot.
Last summer, Syracuse's "Lift for Life" raised more than $7,000 to benefit the rare-disease community.
The mission of Uplifting Athletes is to empower people to take action against rare diseases and inspire the medical community to find cures.
